I started using Google+ to follow Educational Technology Communities.
Symbaloo
I use Symbaloo primarily for storing my own resources, but you can bet if you are keeping your great resources here, others are too. Symbaloo allows you to search and browse through other people's webmixes for resources in certain areas, and save it to your page for future use.
Scoop It
Scoop.it is a site used for curating information. You can follow certain people, their boards, or simply search for a topic and find resources. It is an amazing site for keeping me up to date on emerging technologies, especially useful classroom apps.
